1. Overview

Olé ("the App") is a football quiz game developed by Lumisi Ltd ("we", "us", "our").  We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. 

2. What We Collect

• Team name: the name you choose in the App
• Game scores and fixture progress: your results and which players you've already identified, so your progress carries over between devices and reinstalls
• League membership: leagues you create or join, league names, and join codes
• iCloud user record identifier: assigned automatically by Apple when you use CloudKit
• Reports you submit: if you report a league or team name for offensive content, we store the report (your iCloud identifier, the reported league or team name, and  the reason) so we can review and act on it

We do not collect your real name, email address, phone number, location, or any other personal information.

3. How Data Is Stored

• Local data: game preferences and a cached copy of your progress are stored on your
  device.
• Leaderboard and progress data: synced via Apple's CloudKit service, tied to your iCloud account. This includes fixture completion records so your progress persists across devices and reinstalls.

We do not operate our own servers and have no access to your Apple ID or iCloud credentials.

4. Third-Party Sharing

We do not share, sell, or transfer any of your data to third parties. There are no analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or tracking tools in the App.

5. Notifications

If you enable notifications, they are scheduled locally on your device. No data is sent to any external push notification service.

6. Content Moderation

To keep Olé respectful, we apply a profanity filter to team names and league names at the point of entry. Users can also report leagues or specific team names they find offensive via the in-app Report button. Reports are reviewed manually, and we may remove offending content or block users from leaderboards. We aim to review reports within 24 hours.

7. Data Retention

Local data is retained on your device until you delete the App. CloudKit data (leaderboards, fixture progress, league memberships) is retained while you continue using the App. Reports submitted via the Report feature are retained for moderation review and removed once resolved.

8. Deleting Your Data

You can:

• Leave a league: from the league screen, removes your entry and stats from that league's leaderboard immediately.
• Delete the App: removes all local data from your device. Any leaderboard entries and progress in CloudKit remain dormant but inactive.
• Email us: to request permanent deletion of all data linked to your iCloud identifier (leaderboard entries, fixture progress, and any reports you've submitted). Please email info@ole-ole-ole.com and include your team name and a league code from any league you've joined (the 6-character code shown on the league screen) so we can locate your data. We will respond within 30 days.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is suitable for all ages. However, leaderboard features require an iCloud account, which is subject to Apple's own age requirements. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided data through the App, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@ole-ole-ole.com .

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
